Networking in Tennessee
This year, Texas Southern University’s Homecoming celebration brought together a community of students, alumni, and innovators, with Toyz Electronics joining the event to inspire the next generation of tech-savvy leaders. Founded by Damola and Wole Idowu, Toyz Electronics was on campus showcasing its unique approach to technology and education, offering students a look at how culture and STEM can work together.
Toyz Electronics hosted interactive sessions featuring their ToyzSTEAM curriculum. Attendees had the chance to test out the program and get more familiar with Damola’s background in hip hop as well as technology. Toyz Electronics reinforced its commitment to empowering HBCU students with the skills and confidence needed to pursue careers in STEM.
